Online IST Content Interface

The Online IST Interface has been built to deliver all of the online readings, examples, and interactive exercises to you. You can access the Online IST Interface from your Instructor's syllabus or from within the Course Communication Space. Use your Penn State User ID and password to access the materials.

The Online IST Interface is a custom designed environment for browsing the course Topics and Lessons. It has been redesigned to lighten the overhead associated with reading course materials. From within the Interface you will find text-based material, access to important graphical illustrations, interactive exercises, multimedia animations, links to Resources such as Lab and Problem Activities, Discussion Activities that prompt you to go to the Course Communication Space, and URLs for further investigation.

• Direct access to the lessons within the selected topic from the menu at the left.
• Direct access to a quick help section from the link in the upper right.
• Navigation within each lesson from the “Previous | Next” links located at the top and bottom right portion of the page.
• On Windows-based machines, a “Print this Screen” button is located at the bottom of the screen.
• Relevant information related to the publish date of the screen and the screen index. Both of these items are critical when reporting issues with a given screen.
