Accomplishments:
The IST Solutions Institute has designed and developed tools for elearning including Edison Services and the resources available on the Solutions Exchange.
Edison Services is an integrated online service that is designed to take the pain out of using the Internet as a teaching partner. Using Edison Services is easier than ever and it allows for greater levels of control and customization of instructor's sections as well as new ways to communicate with the students from a central location.
Instructors use it to create their section, gain access to predesigned course materials, manage their students and teams, build powerful peer assessment opportunities, and more.

The Solutions Exchange is the central starting point for both students and faculty for all Online IST learning opportunities. The key component of the Exchange is community. Early on in the Online IST project we realized the need for integrated support mechanisms. The Exchange serves as the one stop shopping location for all things Online IST. Faculty use the Exchange to setup sections, build their course syllabi, and utilize the Peer Evaluation Tool using Edison Services. Students use the Exchange as their primary stepping off point into the Online IST experience, get answers to questions from the eLearning Coordinator, and download assignments and resources from the Online IST Libraries.
These libraries include the Problems Library, Topic and Print Library, and Labs Library. They are repositories that provides faculty and students with direct access to the ever-growing library of Online IST materials. Faculty member’s have the flexibility to use any of the resources by choosing to include them in the course syllabus.
